Next book i’m going to read is “Hypnerotomachia Poliphili, Strife
of Love in a Dream”, which “Rule of Four” is based on. I
picked it up off amazon along with the illustrated (but supposedly
still unabridged) version of Dan Brown’s “Angels and Demons.” I
haven’t read many novels lately, so i think i’m going to switch back
into that mode.I’m not reading the original italian version, just the english
translation. Supposedly it is a difficult read. Thats
okay, i’m always up for a challenge. Finding the time
to read it will also be part of that challenge, although I did
pass up seeing Roger Clemens pitch today against the Giants. I
went to the game on Friday night and hung out with some co-workers as
well as all the regulars in 152 (all the season ticketholders showed up
tonight…even Jason, the guy from whom i buy my tickets.)I’m in a poker freeroll tourney (only about 100 players are signed up
last time i checked) for $2,000 in cash and a $5,150 seat in a World
Poker Tour event down in Los Angeles in a couple weeks. The odds
of me winning are slim, but i’ve been playing well lately so who
knows!
