-
well this is really a wednesday entry, but i somehow got home a little later than expected tonight.

good things about today:
- my a1c is down to 6.9 percent. considering it was at 18.4 percent
or something astronomical like that in january, i think this is
progress.
- on the train ride back from san mateo. chatted it up with a health educator from the mills-peninsula
diabetes center, who actually works with Cindy and Cathy, my two
contacts there. - yummy quesadilla from la cumbre
- got to hang out with kristi, monika, and the rest of the pub-trivia crew.

- my bed is cozy and warm!
not-so-good things about today:
- having to go home begrudgingly cause i didn’t have my night-time
insulin with me. (normally i just carry the humalog, not the lantus.) - bk’s chicken fries are nasty
- previously mentioned health educator is 34 and married.
- got killed in pub-trivia due to a lack of “new orleans” knowledge. note to self…plan trip to mardi gras for 2006.
- waiting half an hour for the 38, and then having to walk
from geary/larkin back to my apartment. ahhh i live so close to
such sketchiness! - i will probably get only four hours of sleep tonight in previously mentioned cozy bed. *sigh*
