The less sleep i get, the more refreshed I seem to be in the morning.
So i’m on the train last night about to leave the station and I
think, hey I should call my friend CJ and make plans to go to
lunch with her this week. With my train mere seconds away from
leaving, she manages to convince me to meet up with her in North
Beach. Turns out to be a mini reunion from high school as <a
href=”http://www.jessfine.com”>Jess</a> is there too. I
admit it was crazy hanging out with them since i hadn’t seen either of
them in oh…seven years or so. We grabbed drinks and
dinner, then headed over to a different bar to hear CJ’s friends’
band play. They weren’t bad, and hey, any band that
covers Ween’s “Voodoo Lady” is all good in my book.Didn’t get to say goodbye, had to leave in order to catch
the train…….i’m sure i’ll be hanging out with that crowd sooner
rather than later…….
