i forgot to mention
that there is a *fantastic* view of the city from the roof of my office
building. between the poetry night and the movie, i
showed monika the office where i work, and i jokingly said we
should check out whether you could get to the roof by going up the
stairs. bingo.for some reason the door was open when we went up, but it locked
as we walked back down from the roof. perhaps i'll see if it is
possible to get a key so we can go up there and eat lunch overlooking
the City on our lunch break. the view from our office is
good, the view from the roof is that much better, and
friday night? things just seemed perfect.but now i have to go to bed, a night of trivia games and
half-watching/half-dozing during "Shawn of the Dead" has made me
sleepy. Thanks Mon, Thanks Carrie for trivial
pursuit. As that quote goes, "To the victors, goes
the breakfast."
Highlight of the day: Hanging out and chatting it up with Larry and Tammy, seeing the sunset in half moon bay
lowlight: driving to mountain terrace in woodside only to find out that they didn't have my spare insulin case and monika's id.
